October Book Picks: Take a Look!

Books, books, and more books!! Here are a few favorites for October. Apples, pumpkins, and trick or treating- what a FUN month for building language and vocabulary!

Just a reminder, if your little one is not attending to books page by page, it is OKAY to not read every word on the page. You can skim, summarize, or even make up your story as your flip through the pages. Sometimes just looking at pictures, pointing, and naming along the way is a wonderful language activity.

Follow your child's lead and make the book fun by adding silly sounds, fun voices, and commenting.... remember, it's not a quiz so don't add too many questions!
